Société d’Exploitation du Terril St Jacques or SETSJ sprl was created in Farciennes in 2012 as part of ROTON Environnment Group's development plans.

Its aim is to sustainably redevelop industrial sites, with a focus on mining waste tips, starting with the redevelopment of the Saint-Jacques tip.

SETSJ sprl attaches great importance to the sustainability of its activities and has been investing more than 100,000 euros a year to carry out wildlife protection and development activities on the Saint-Jacques mining tip, even though the landfilling is still in full swing.
